Last listed at $26,500,000, the transaction marks the highest sale in our company history and the highest single residential sale ever reported in Westchester County. The estate was purchased by an international buyer and Houlihan Lawrence represented both sides of the transaction.
Devonshire, a magnificent and historic estate situated in Bedford Corners, sits on 100+ acres with a grand circa 1901 Georgian Manor, peerless recreational amenities, collector’s garages, stables and extensive staff/guest outbuildings. Home to several of America’s most prominent families over its rich history, the estate was originally the country home of financier J. Borden Harriman and his socialite wife Florence who later became the U.S. Ambassador to Norway.
