Scott’s Corner is the main shopping district in Pound Ridge. Scott’s Corner Market, though simple sounding, is anything but. People come from near and offer to savor their gourmet prepared foods, organic fruits and vegetables, and bakery. Scott’s Corner is also peppered with antique stores, which are always busy in this town that boasts many antique homes and a strong historical society.
What would Pound Ridge, with its equal doses of sophistication, charm and pastoral settings, be without a few bold face names? Richard Gere, Tom Brokaw and Vera Wang reside in Pound Ridge and might be seen at some the town’s restaurants such as Dinardo’s or North Star.
